The Packard Bell has Norton '05 which is pretty dreadful and caused me all sorts of hassle. It's now just about functioning. So the Norton'04 on the Laptop decides it's time for it to play me up.
I downloaded the latest Norton update Thursday and since then Outlook Express will not allow me to access my default Blueyonder email. This one's the big important one I use for most stuff. It allows Hotmail and Gmail, so the problem isn't connection or server. If I disable Norton, I can get the email but not with it running.
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk (1)', Server: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
My error Message seems a common one. I googled it and apparently the update I downloaded has upset it. And there's this complex way to resolve the problem, which I followed and it's still not working. FFS, this is fecking pathetic.
I will NEVER buy Norton again.
Help... Daniel.....
Ok Exaxis... You were right.
Anyways I'm sat here moaning and watching a whole weekend of Extreme Makeover House Edition, which is lush. I love Ty Pennington.
