TV and Tripe

It was with great sadness that I heard of the demise of The Farm from our TV sets. Never again will we see the likes of Keith Harris's Bum or the naked Ron Jeremy in a lather.
I'm devastated and will be in mourning for the remainder of the day.
What's up with TV these days. We never seem to watch anything other than Living TV ATM. To switch over to terrestrial TV is like suspending all belief of anything good.
I picked up the TV times this week and splashed over the front page was Eastenders. Yes, yet another ridiculous storyline.
Makes me a little worried to visit our fair country's capital if all Londoners are like them.
This week Johnny the thugs daughter, discovers her dad is a thug and wrecks her bedroom.
(Abby wrecks her bedroom with no prompting what so ever)
Seeing 'Johnny the thug' is played by classic thug actor Bill Murray, we are a little surprised to discover that Ruby thought her dad the Christian do gooder type.
Peggy superhuman granny with all kids thugs and daughter doing bird for murder, deems herself THE person to save poor Ruby from her thug father.
Do yourselves a favour my fellow Citizens. Switch off.

I was talking this week to my new friend and he tells me he spent 250 quid once on a meal for two. Talking to someone else today... They also has spent 250 quid on a meal for two.
At this point I'm feeling decidedly chav and think I should do Clarrie's Chav test again. I think I'm frivolous if I spend a tenner in McDonald's.
Why do people have such better lives than me?
Make Trin smell sexy.....
Mind, I can talk. I just spent twenty quid on a bottle of Estee Lauder online (it was a bargain) but it was also my last 20 quid. I have to smell nice. It's the law.
And I consider that to be extremely extravagant behaviour.
Maybe I should go out selling my 'special' bread and jam sandwiches ;P

Just cos it's more expensive doesn't make it better. Anyway, home-cooked food is much nicer than restaurant food, although it is nice to be treated sometimes. Your prince will come ... If not, just find some old sucker to treat you in the meantime ;)
