Better day today. I still feel tired but guess I got a bit of catching up to do sleep wise.
I saw the River of Life Christian Centre bus today. A big white thing with River Of Life emblazoned across it. And guess what? Pictures of the congregation all around it's sides. Spread the word guys!
The doctor was 45 minutes late seeing me today. So I had to sit in that pikey surgery people watching.
After living in fairly middle class Brislington, Hartcliffe is a completely new experience. The people there today were either really old or really typical council estate and I fear I fell into both those categories!
There was one mum with a 2 year old who simply would not do as she was told. "Letisha" she kept yelling across the room. I thought of a remark I heard that TV Nanny expert say once "Your child is controlling you, sort it"
I think I was a mean mum, because when mine were little, if they ran off I'd say... 'Get lost then, I won't come find you'. And they scurried back in fear I'd dessert them. Mean woman. But my kids were well behaved.
In Hartcliffe we don't use the words Mum or Mummy or Mother. It's Muh 'Are Muh' not, our Mum.
Anyways the Doctor was a little shocked by my admission and talk with him, but he took control, made plans for me and offered me private psychotherapy paid for by the health centre. A 2 year course designed to make you a happier and better person. Sorted!
And he's going to write to 'Evil's answer to Psychiatry' and tell them I hate them. Nice GP. (one point he started laughing... He was reading the last letter written to him by the psychiatrist... You know the one that started off 'Brenda came to visit me....')
So today's been better and happier and calmer. Three good words.
