What is it with kids today? At the age of just six months you can now have you very own dance mat. A dance mat at 6 months?

How ever are the toy industry going to move on from that.....

When I was a kid I had to make do with paper dolls, cut them out and dress them in paper clothes. Denim Deb was my only friend. Heaven help you if you snipped off the paper tabs by accident because Denim Deb was suddenly a stripper.
Mind she'd never get much money with that underwear.

You were lucky. We lived for three months in a paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six in the morning, clean the paper bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down t' mill, fourteen hours a day, week-in week-out, for sixpence a week, and when we got home our Dad would thrash us to sleep wi' his belt.
