BBC tonight /inserts important sounding music

BBC Search

"Other people are searching for:
horizon
hurricane katrina
alcohol"

The third most search hits on the BBC website tonight is Alcohol. FFS why would ANYONE want to look in a search engine for alcohol. Are they dim or something?
'Duh, lets go look up the different types of alcohol tonight Dear.
There's lager and beer and wine and whiskey and that foreign muck you bring back from Benidorm each year'.

Other news:
Musician Boy George has been arrested at his home in New York on suspicion of possessing cocaine

This is news? Are we interested? Do we care? Pass the Dutchie lovey.

"The music of So Solid Crew rapper Megaman, accused of encouraging his friend to shoot a man dead, has been played to an Old Bailey murder jury".

I think that jury might need psycho-therapy after that ordeal.

SMS Bible launched in Australia

"The entire Bible would be more than 30,000 messages
The Bible has been translated into text message-speak in Australia to allow its lessons to be disseminated more easily.
"In da Bginnin God cre8d da heavens & da earth," it begins"

Glad to see God getting with the times.... He's da bomb. Better get a good text pack with that amount of Christian SMS. Hallelujah "God is Massive"

And lastly
Broadband Unites remote schools

"Now pupils at the two schools will use broadband technology to stay in touch and share experiences".
Umm not being pedantic or anything... But isn't this called the INTERNET? Or have I missed something vital here.

He added: "We can access the world with broadband"
And teachers want more pay?

Goodnight everyone.

Anne Robinson. Too irritating to watch! The wife finds Schofield irritating. Thinks he's a sort of horrible goddy prude person like Cliff Richard. I tell her I have seen him in interviews and he isn't at all like that, but once the missus had made up her mind what somebody's shortcoming are she is unbudgable.
