Bristol Pix

I'm very lucky because although we live in the city, it's only 5 minutes drive away until you reach countryside with farms and lakes and animals. I like this house but wonder everytime I drive past it if anyone's ever crashed into it.
There is an old family tale of a friend of ours who met a nice girl from Germany who asked him to show her the sights of Bristol. He said he would and she got dolled up for a night on the town.
Unfortunately he got the wrong end of the stick and drove her up this hill, pointed to the view and said there it is.
True Romance.

Chew Valley lakes are popular for a Sunday Drive round these parts. They flooded a village to make the valley for the resevoir in dry times you can sometimes see a church spire. Spooky!
