Most commonly, that involved withholding or withdrawing treatment because physicians believed the baby had no real chance of survival or the baby had no chance of a "bearable future".Doctor's playing God. How can you tell if a babies life will be unbearable? Doctors told my friends neighbour that her tiny baby would never walk, eat solid food or go to main stream school. She may be tiny and a bit behind other kids her age, but she runs like the wind, eats crisps in vast quantities and yes, goes to school.
