Last night my parents brought over a bed for Abby (hers is broken big time). They had it in a trailer on the back of their popemobile car.
Bailey loves seeing my mum and dad...Not because of them but she likes attacking their Doggie Lucy. That dog is so pathetic.
When they got back in the car to go though, she was acting so stupid. She laid in the road in front of the car. Then moved (still in the road) and narrowly missed being run over twice by two cars rushing past. We couldn't look. Danz was in tears. Then she ran back and sat under the trailers wheel, with this dopey look on her face.
How do you instill road sense into a cat?
When Ron died last week the Vet told me her cat had been run over twice and survived. But if they've had one mishap with a car, surely they learn to be more cautious next time?
Problem with our house is across the road is the school playing fields and that area of the fields is meant to be some kind of jungle wild place. The grass is long with bushes and greenery. I think she feels like some wild cat over there. Hunting for prey. It would work but everytime something scares her she comes running back mewing for England for a hug.
I don't know whose more trouble. The kids or the kats.
