hi

Woo, my favourite doctor ever is back. He came into see us today and told me he was staying for a year. He came belting down the corridor and gave me the biggest hug ever. I adore him. He's also a really excellent doctor.
Today was busy, not in a physical sense but loads of sorting out to do. My head is spinning and I'm glad I got tomorrow off.
I was working with another junior doctor. He was cool though. There was one tense moment. We were taking blood from a child with learning disabilities. I had everything ready and the child all prepared and he had the needle out just about to jab him and his bleep went off. He turned around and looked at it them said, "I'll have to answer that it's an outside call".
I looked at the child, looked at the doctor and said very firmly "No it will have to wait.. We do this first"
And to his credit, he got on with the bloods.
You cannot do that to kids, particularly this child. Kids come first, telephone calls second.
My application for the shelving course is all accepted and ready to go. I got the letter today. Oh heck! Here we go.
Danielle walked home with a friend today and took one hour and 20 minutes. I had a fit. Her week at senior school... I want her home safe. Soon as she got home I had them both doing housework, washing up and stuff, much to Abby's Chagrin. Fair's fair though. We've all been out since 08.30 this morning. ;P

You're a cheeky bugger Daniel! You'll be able to sit on one of my shelves... (mind you personally may be a little on the heavy side) Your punctuation isn't having the enormous improvement I'd hoped for and if the ozone layer depended on you, we'd all be dead now.
