I'm going to Cardiff next weekend to Cardiff with Marie. Just two nights in a hotel, chilling and swimming and a health farm thing... facials etc.
I told the kids tonight. Danielle was worried about where I'd send her. She wants to stay here with Abby. Abby doesn't want to stay here with Danz. She says she's a pain and won't look after her.
I told Abby she can have a friend stay the weekend. "Not if Danielle is here" She said.
Why? I know all about the sister thing, but there's only the three of us. Why is Abby so mean and nasty?
So I lost my temper and sent them both to bed out of my sight.
Oh FFS I give up. Now Abby is hysterical. She's sorry. Now she'll be hard on herself all night. How do other mum's cope with teenagers?
Someone give me a Castle in Italy... Quick.
Perhaps I shouldn't be going away? Am I a bad mother?

Don't be daft. You're a much better mum than you ever give yourself credit for. Abby likes the idea of stretching her wings and little sisters tend to make you feel those wings have been clipped.
See it with my boys all the time... thing is, they always get on even when they dont want to.
You enjoy yourself. Be pampered! Nudge the neighbour to listen for armageddon and just chill!
