I went to see my GP.. I did go. Well one of my GP's. The last time I went to see this particular one he was a bit rushed and bolshy with me. So I wasn't expecting a lot. He was 40 minutes late seeing me, but he apologised as I entered the room.
Then he actually sat and talked to me. He listened, his body language was good. He was humorous and sympathetic. He said my Blood Pressure was raised again. I told him all about the psychiatrist. To my utter surprise he said he'd write to my Consultant and ask for me to see a different doctor. I think he was a bit shocked at what the psychiatrist had said to me.
I guess I'm his patient and they work for him in a way. If I don't get good care he has a right to complain. Funny someone told me I should tell my GP, but I didn't listen.
I showed him my bruise... or more like he noticed it. He said I got a small haematoma under it, which is why it still bloody hurts.
Anyways he dictated a letter to my Consultant whilst I was there and was very nice.
So I'm happy.
Ha! Makes a bloody change... Right guys?
;P

Damn fine news :)
Maybe it's the weather because I've had a sudden change in my doc too! After 7 years of tablets, lectures and more tablets I'm suddenly getting Xrays, blood tests and physio! Weird world huh? (Just my back ;) Nothing new!)
