Can be damn useful though. Getting on to my local councillor was the only way I ever got the council to act over Mr Pikey Scum's annexation of the once pleasant woodland behind our house. Hopefully it will be pleasant again one day.
PS Of course it was coming up to election time. Always helps.
PPS The one on the left definitely looks like a paedophile though. You would think they would smarten themselves up a bit for a leaflet photo.
Yeah, if they wore fancy dress they'd be much more likely to get people wanting them to call round, probably for the wrong reasons, but it's a start.
