marines 'disrespectful' for turning up at church

all welcome unless you got very short hair...Marines crash Mass, rile parishioners

To Aida Nordahl and some of her fellow parishioners, the strangers with shaved heads who showed up the past two Sundays at her church were up to no good. But according to sheriff's deputies, the men who came to St.Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church were actually U.S. Marines just got back from Iraq looking for a buddy.
The confusion began April 24 during the Spanish Mass at the Banyan Avenue church. Three men walked in and sat down. Before the end of the service, they walked to the front of the congregation, stood facing parishioners in silence and then walked out of the church.
"I was just upset that they went inside the church and did this to us," she said. "It was very disrespectful.
"

Interesting stuff. And you may wonder just why I dislike certain aspects of the Christian Church.
Where's the arms open welcoming strangers? The warmth and humanity. Instead differences breed fear and comtempt. Instead of welcoming the guys or even asking them who they were, the parishoners simply called the cops.
I did laugh at this line

"I was just upset that they went inside the church and did this to us," she said. "It was very disrespectful."

All the guys did was go into the church two weeks running, sit through the service and look around for a buddy. If she believe's that's disrepectful she's whacko.
