I downloaded MSN Beta a few days back. I really like it. It's got a few more options and some cool smilies. Abby's well taken with it too.
Trouble is, it has this option to appear offline as you log in. Ace. You may just want to see whose online, check emails and not chat.
But I'm a terror for appearing offline. I only log in if there's something I want to tell someone. Rarely just to chat. I hate being tied to the pc with a conversation. So what if everyone else is like me? We could all appear offline waiting for someone to log in who we want to talk to. And no-one ever does? The art of the online chat will be gone.
(Not for Abby though who has a few million chat partners tsk)
