Best song in the past 25 Years (voted by Radio 2 listeners): Robbie Williams' "Angels".
No Comment or the bad language would shock the blogging world...That's a HUGE joke.

And there's the 2nd Huge Joke. What a lot of commercialised clap trap.

Well, 'Hopes & Fears' was the biggest seller , therefore the most popular, album last year. 'Angels' is a very popular commercial song - I'd have gone for 'Love will tear us apart', but that dowsn't have the same appeal. After all, it is popular music we are talking about, and 'Angels' is staggeringly popular. Gwen Stefani had a huge album last year - which other foreign femails did anything? Madge? Missy Elliot? Beyonce? I can't think of a single female artist who did anything in terms of new work last year except Gwen.

Joss Stone, on the other hand - she wins for singing exactly like Aretha Franklin. A good trick, but Urban? (Mind you - best British Female was always going to be between her, Katie Meusli and Natasha Bedingfeld).

THe Brits are about popular music, i.e. what's sold waggonloads last year. I'd say the results were bang on.
