The Dinner

Oh dear. I'm complete crap. This morning after putting the meat in the oven I fell asleep on the sofa and only woke up when my parents arrived at 12. I'd told them One o clock, but maybe it was a good job they didn't wait till then. So Danz did the potatoes while I got dressed. But Dinner was on the table ready to eat at 13.05.
The meat was lush, and my dad said he liked dinner. Dessert was funny but they all ate it.
My mum wanted to read my Eulogy to my Nan, so I let her and she cried. Maybe I'll post it after the funeral. I'll see. Abby gave me my Mother's Day gifts when she got up. A photo Album and some gel candles.
Then my dad asked me to look at his laptop because he couldn't confugure it to work on wireless.
OMG what a hassle. His pc must be set up for some office networking or something. I ended up calling a friend (rather like who wants to be a millionaire) who very patiently and kindly talked me through the whole thing. I'd have never done it on my own. Apparently the Bridge was turned on. Now if you understand that you're a damn sight cleverer than me. But we did it and he's pleased. He had masses of pop ups and spyware on it, so we downloaded google tool bar and Spybot.
My Dad used to repair computers but his area was hardware and although he has a slight knowledge of Software it's not too good. So we had three computers working off the Router and my mum hopes that's not going to make the bill more expensive....there's no hope there!
Oh my mum also bought me a rose so I planted her's and Collettes in the garden today. "I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose Garden".
