Listening to the Virgin FM news today I heard that a study was done on our streets finding the most happy city to live in. The study measured smiles. How many people smiled back at a smiley stranger. Turns out Manchester was the happiest closely followed by Edinburgh.
Sadly the most miserable was London....Bah humbug all you Londoners. What happened to the cockney chirpers. You all watch far too much Eastenders.London was closely followed by that most miserable of sea side resorts Brighton. Obviously the Nudist beach does nothing for them...or maybe it's the surge of all those grumpy Londoners on a Sunday?
