Treats

I seem to have more money than I'm meant to have. Weird, doesn't feel right for this time of year. Anyways the girls wanted to know what we were doing today.
A touch stir crazy. Ready for school I reckon. To go back and see friends and do something other than watch DVD's and eat bloody Christmas chocolate.
I'm still a bit fuzzy today but I decided we'd go out to tea. Only if we dress up they said. Sigh*
So we all dressed up and I put on make-up which made me look the best since Christmas Day and we went to the Harvester because Abby likes the salad Cart there.
The Place was packed, full of families. That was ok because I was with my family. Us three girls.
I had ribs which were delicious...The best I tasted for ages. The girls remarked on how many cooked meals they'd had these holidays....Oh FFS I can't do it all. Least I'm not like Cher in Mermaids and only dish out Voluvents.
There were some quite obnoxious kids there and some loud brash men too. I think the whole country is stir crazy. Kids need school!
After we finished eating a new family were seated opposite us. I looked over and recognised them. I used to know them. Was fairly friendly at one point but certainly knew them well enough to speak. But the woman kept her head down though Abby said she kept glancing over.
I got uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Luckily Harvesters are pretty good at the checking out procedure...prob glad to see the back of you so we were out in a few minutes.
Anyways home safe now. Safe and warm and full up.
