Apparently this is the 7th annual internet blackout day (hasn't done much good so far then!). This is in protest for all those Americans missing in action or prisoners of war
On February 1, 2005, we are encouraging all webpage owners to black out their webpages for 24 hours. This POW/MIA Internet Blackout is being done in Honor of our POW/MIA's and in Commitment to our Continuing Work Toward a Full Accounting of our POW/MIA's !
We have two different options for doing this:
24 Hour blackout of your webpage
90 Seconds of Silence Blackout of your webpage
This is a 24 hour blackout, but we offer the 90 seconds of silence for those that cannot afford or are unable to blackout their webpage for the full 24 hours.
What a
If only life were that simple.
Also Today Sunday 19th December. It's 'National Bowling for our Troops day'. Those lovable Americans are encouraged to 'get on down' to their local bowling place and throw a bowl in support of those guys with balls. What a worthy and honorable event :-#
I feel sure you will all be participating.
