They're finally going to tear down those awful shops round these parts and build us a nice new state of the art supermarket.
Kind of sad in ways. I used to play round those shops. I used to spend my school dinner money on chips there, nicked sweets, brought my first record, my brother
broke his arms over his handle bars there.It's like a bit of a ghost town now. Kids hang about because they got nothing else to do except kick balls at the metal shop fronts. I remember people who lived in those flats over the shops.
All long gone.
