Release the beasts

Now, I guess my work mates don't get out much? Well some do.. But tonight there were an awful lot of drunk women at the restaurant in Clifton.
The food was nice...Well ok. I didn't like my starter, The steak was good and the Vanilla creme Brulee was excellent. Musets is a BYO place. And the wine flowed merrily. One of them fell over and had to be picked up. Ah sign of a good time I reckon. I wore my lush new skirt, new trendy one with pattern on side and my FM boots. And those girls didn't know what FM boots were? were have they been? When I whispered 'Fuck me' suddenly they all wanted a pair.
Tsk you men, do you not satisfy your wives?
Buy her a pair of FM's. They have to be knee high, with zips and heels. Then make her keep them on while your shagging. Believe me. Its great, makes you feel really sexy and the sexier you are the better the sex.
Anyways I'm probably writing dross as I'm very pissed so I better go to bed.
Goodnight Internet Land. I love you all.

Friends

I'm going out tonight. Well, meant to be. My friend Barbs is leaving work. I don't want to go. I don't want to say goodbye to her. I've worked with her for many years. We've had our ups and downs and it's the end of an era really. So many changes. So much uncertainty and worry.
I've started to feel anxious again in company. So I decided to get a taxi and have some drink. Courage in the bottle. I don't drink much. I don't need to normally. But sometimes a little Dutch courage (why's it called Dutch?)and my natural inhibitions fly away. I'm very shy sometimes (ok I said sometimes) Ok I'm not really shy. I just wish I was shy. I wish I didn't wear my heart on my sleeve, I wish I'd be more objective and less intense.
This restaurant tonight has got some fancy food on the menu. Whats wrong with plain english food? Everythings got some sauce on it. Or a coulis. I'd like a huge Knickerbocker glory.
Anyone know where I can get a real Knickerbocker glory? and no sexual comments. I know you lot have filthy minds.

New Ofcom code 'could ban Bambi'

BBC new restrictions

Hmm songs of praise needs to carry a warning that it 'contains religious content?' What rubbish. Are we deemed as stupid or what?
Mind you I did laugh at Dick and Dom In Da House being rapped on the knuckles for Dom wearing a tee-shirt with 'Morning Wood' on it. Very funny!
Anyways Bambi should be banned. I've never recovered from watching the scene where his mummy was tragically killed. I cried for 4 years.

Charlotte Wyatt's Verdict

Ill baby 'should not be revived'

The correct decision. But never the less very sad and emotional. The whole argument of saving under 26 week gestation babies is difficult. But today I met a child of 2 years. Gorgeous and healthy, who'd been born at 25 weeks. I believe every case should be treated on an individual basis. There can be no other way.

Man's viewpoint?

Men's attention more important for women than sex
(I don't think so!)

A man giving his hand to a woman to help her on a stairway is appreciated a lot more than sex.
A long-lasting relationship between two people is usually based on love, tenderness, attention and mutual understanding, not on sex alone. It may end rather sadly, if a man continuously commits actions, which a woman considers unforgivable.
If you do open a door for a woman to let her go first, if you do not give her your hand when she steps out of the car, she will be rather disappointed with your inattention to her persona. All excuses like "sorry honey, I was in a hurry" are useless in this situation.
According to a recent opinion poll, women react rather strongly to men's inattentive behavior, especially when it goes about their own men - boyfriends or husbands. Ninety-one percent of ladies said they are always delighted, when a man gives woman his hand (I prefer something firmer ;). A man also enjoys this rule of opening the door for a woman - it is a very good opportunity to take a second and look at her figure from behind. Ninety-five percent of men said they always do it.
The situation with good manners in restaurants is far from being immaculate, especially when it comes to bills. Only 40 percent of men pay for women in restaurants, and only 22 percent of women accept such a sacrifice from their men. Specialists believe men cannot understand how important it is for a woman to feel independent even in such situations as paying bills in restaurants. A man giving his hand to a woman to help her on a stairway is appreciated a lot more.
Women value men's attention as they age
, whereas aging men feel more confident when they become financially secure. Forty-two percent of women over 65 said a man should always pay for a woman if he takes her out for a dinner. However, only 39 percent of young men between 17 and 24 years of age agreed it is the sole men's responsibility.
the article!

Written by a man who has Noooooooo idea. So funny!

excuse me while I choke Everyone is aware that sex is a rather pleasant activity Apparently sex stimulates intellect? then what happened to Jordan? This guy is a classic.

A little sex post

I've just heard a friend's marriage is ending. I was surprised because she always proclaimed undying love for him and said he was the best shag ever.
Started me thinking, did she know what good sex was anyways? How do we know if we've had 'good' sex?
Having been married for 11 years I know all about marital sex. In the beginning it was spontaneous, free and exciting. But all too soon the pressures of kids, work and married life detract from desire.
My main problem was the fact that he stopped trying after about year. He let himself go, was inattentive and dull. picture, joggers with elasticated legs, white socks, trainers :/
So what about really mind blowing sex? How can you capture that with a man or woman you've been with for many years?
Communication is the key. This partner of yours...If they're the one for you, should know you very well. Know what you're capable of and what you want and need.
So many women say cuddles and touching are far more important than the sexual act. Why is that? Because they don't get enough attention. Women think that the sex act is all gratification for the man.
I remember marital sex well. I called it 'The Roll on Roll off Car Ferry Position'. Roll on, anchor, then a short burst of energy, (about 25 seconds I'd say) then roll off and down stairs for a can of Skol. (yeuk)
If your sex life is like that you need to get out fast...or do some very serious work on it.
Have you ever had a one night stand that was great? Imagine if that person was your partner and got to know you, what you liked, what you wanted to try. It would be fantastic.
I've had good sex, I've had great sex. But the best sex I've had was with the man who made me laugh, who'd try anything. Who made me feel special, liberated and feminine.
Love? Well ok, sex with someone you love is bliss. But love is fickle and tainted. Love is marred by the grubby ring he left round the bath, the dirty pants on the bedroom floor, the washing you asked him to hang out left screwed up in the washing machine. And the same goes for women too. Oh god women are not perfect. The nagging, the looks when you have a drink with the boys, the silence, when you think you've done wrong, but can't work out what. The PMT when you can do NOTHING right.
I personally think that everyone, including my kids, have ESP and should be able to mind read what I want. I know I do it. Imagine living with that!
Good sex makes us feel bloody great, liberated, desirable and wanted. Orgasms release seritonin into our brains and makes us happy.
So we should concentrate on sex more. Stop viewing it as a task but a treat. Make time for it. Do it and do each other.
Ok, before Christmas book a hotel room. Let Aunty Sue have the kids (she loves them anyway) and experiment with each other, and yourself. Get the sex toys out (you better have some!!!!) and let yourself go.
So much will fall into place, you'll be happier, more relaxed and a much more rounded whole person.
Do something really dirty that makes you blush when you think of it.
I know a great trick with ice-cream ;)

Princess. Marital sex goes wrong! Warning very rude. Takes a while to load but its fab.

Maths Update

Abby said her head of year came to the classroom today. The behaviour was better BUT she told Abby, and the other two girls who were upset after yesterdays chaos, that she was disappointed in THEM. That she felt they never gave the lesson a chance yesterday and walking out wasn't the answer.
Ok, so just how many books do you have to have thrown at your head before it's felt you've given it a fair chance?
Any idea?

Is it me?

This morning I had an appointment with a doctor at work. 9am to be precise. It's always hard for me to get there by 9 but I was determined to do it. I was in charge at work today, a big clinic to run to start with and working with a bank nurse. Rush rush rush, Drop the kids off then navigate through the awful city traffic. A taxi that straddled both lanes and went v slow, bicycles struggling uphill and getting in my way. All the time one eye on the clock. I hit the hospital grounds at 9am exactly. Rushed round parked and ran to the department to see the Doctor. It was 9.05. I booked in and sat down. Another woman was in the room before me. I'd looked in the doctors room and saw he was on his computer. There was no-one in with him.
At 9.20 I walked back. He was still on the computer, I asked the receptionist how long he was going to be.
I had my head bitten off. 'We don't know how long Doctor will be ' She rattled 'He can sometimes be over an hour late. He has a patient in there and you're next'.
How helpful I thought and sat back down. 9.30. The doctor calls the other lady. I began to feel myself get agitated. I was needed at work. Chaos would ensue unless I got there soon.
I returned to the oh so helpful receptionist. I asked why the other lady had gone in before me, as her appointment was 9.30 (she told me).
' Well If you will come in late for your appointment what can you expect' She sharply informed me.
I tried to defend myself that it was only 5 minutes....But she wouldn't listen. I told her I couldn't stay...I was needed at work. She took a marker pen and wrote in big black letters on my records. WOULDN'T WAIT.
I looked at the writing and something snapped. 'It's not that I won't stay I can't' I protested. Her lips pursed and she folded her arms over her boobs.
'Thats so unfair' I cried and then burst into tears. I told them how I was a single mother, how I'd rushed to get there, how, I was running a clinic this morning and how unfair this was.
They all stared at me like I was a freak and I ran out crying.
A failure yet again. Couldn't maintain my composure.
Yet I feel I was in the right, I was only a few minutes late. He was on the computer during my time. He rang me later and admitted he was sending email. But they should have written COULDN'T wait not wouldn't, as that made me seem like some impatient bitch.
I provide excellent care, I'm courteous, efficient and polite. Shouldn't I expect the same quality's for myself as a patient?
Anyways this upset me all morning and at one point I felt so sick I thought I was going to have to go home. But it passed and I'm ok. I wonder if other people would have got upset though. Whether I'm normal? Define normal.

I need a Halloween Outfit. Something like this maybe? Hmmm Trick or treat would be interesting. Posted by Hello

Pink Boots and Scary stuff

Spooky! I spent Halloween one year in New York State with friends. Wow it was very cool. The whole village decorated their houses and homes and in a huge field one family had made a maze with scary people jumping out at you. We went to a Pumpkin Farm and the kids went real trick or treating.
Well Abby has decided we're having a Halloween party this year and I'm to start preparing! Right. She wants some red stuff like blood to drink and reckons red wine would be suitable. Right.
We'll see.
I got some really cool stuff from eBay today including these adorable pink boots (for Danz) they look cool on me though. I love eBay. The excitement of bidding. The the oh my god I won...And now I got to pay for it low.
Maybe I'll wear those pink boots to Madcity when I got visit in 2 weeks. I've never been up further than Birmingham. Hope they got electric for my hair straighteners.

Schools

Abby came home from school quite hysterical tonight. Her last lesson was Maths and it was awful. Total classroom anarchy. She'd had stuff thrown at her and a huge textbook launched at her head. She said the teacher was totally crap, ineffective and laughable. He didn't even call for staff support which is an excellent service at the school. In the end she walked out, she wasn't the first either. Another girl walked out first in tears.
I was surprised. I'd rang the head of year this morning and she promised that it was under control, they knew all about it and she had it covered. Abby says she's not going back to maths again. She doesn't feel safe in her class. She feels as if she's in danger. How can kids learn in those conditions?
I don't know what to do next. I know she's unhappy though and that's bad. She's had enough unhappiness in her life.
Any advice?

Organisation

You know its hard working every day when the kids are at school. It means you never get much done when they're home. Plus now they have a gym thing and want to go every night. They can only be in there from 2-5 so by the time we go straight from school there isn't much time for housework and cooking.
I have a day off today! Seems like I haven't had a day to myself for ages, what with my weekend away.
So I go shopping and as usual pick up all the bargains and spend too much then get home to find the freezer already jam packed with stuff from last week.
Marie came around. She likes my new toy from Ann Summers. One of the girls we went away with the weekend has decided to split from her husband. I can't understand it. She went on all weekend about how much she loved him and what a good shag he was. What else do you need?
The problem is they're both working full time and, as happens in a lot of relationships, the man comes home from work and chills and the woman has to do everything. It's called conditioning and I blame their parents. Still in today's society we see the menial tasks like washing, cooking to be woman's work. Rarely have I ever met a couple where the balance is just right. Infact I know some couples where the man does too much.
Now it's different if the woman (or man) doesn't work, then although stuff should still be shared I believe if your living off your partners money you should do some regular tasks around the house.
I've never not worked. 6 weeks after having Abby and after a Caesarian Section I went back to work full time.
I don't think I could stay at home. It's not possible. I'd wilt and die. I need to get out and see other people. It makes me the person I am. Though don't you ever doubt that I've looked enviously at friends who don't have to work and just do coffee and yoga and shop.
The worse is always at Christmas. Don't forget that as a nurse I HAVE to work all the holidays. Both me and Marie always remember one Christmas when a close friend of ours (who is no longer my friend she dumped me like some rubbish) who doesn't work and seemed to have masses of money. She was moaning that she didn't want her father-in-law for Christmas dinner. She didn't like him. He got on her nerves. She went on and on. Christmas Day when I drove to work and left my small Children with their grandparents I thought of her, tucked up in her cosy decorated house. Glass of wine, food, TV on and was so green with envy. Funny that year Marie said exactly the same thing (she's a nurse too).
What I'd give for some handsome man do come do my ironing. I'd have to watch of course ;) ahh dreams.

Coroner says doctors caused man's death by removing organs

Organs needed to sustain life shocker

Texas ofcourse. They're calling it organ homicide! Wow I'm glad I'm British. When I die you lot can have anything you want but I want to be dead first. BTW the contents of my sekrit drawer are to be shared between Marie and Clazza! Stephen can have my rare collection of crystal cut buses and unusually decorated socks and my mate Jude can have my Pilates book and cherished pot plant that I talk to (I see Will Young is now a footballers wife?)
There that should do it!

Vibrator causes more excitement than it Should

Commotion caused by unwanted adult sex toy shuts down airport

Warning to anyone about to fly. Take out the batteries. They have a tendancy to turn on at the slightest touch. ;P

No Kissing says mean Head master. (he needs a good woman)

BBC NEWS |Pupils in kiss ban demo suspended
For Heavens sake. Do these teachers know NOTHING of teenagers psychology. If you ban it gets worse. Secondary schools are a preparation for college or work. Kissing in work time isn't really acceptable (unless in the linen cupboard ..oooops) but during break time, does this really hurt? They aren't doing drugs or smoking but displaying affection and finding out in a safe populated environment about relationships, sexuality and caring for one another. Well I'm warning them. Banning makes things worse. Next step blow jobs during lessons!

Tuesday!!

Hello
Well I now know what the feck was wrong with me yesterday (women's probs! Say no more) scary though how it can affect me so profoundly and I have no control. To be honest though, some women do stupid things and get violent and impulsive. I just cried a lot into my pillow. Made myself puffy and tired today. But I carried on and everything was fine. My tooth is 100% better (should have gone to the dentist weeks ago) and I'm calm.
Though for some reason I truly was so sad yesterday. I just re-read an email I sent to someone and I cried reading it as when I wrote it I was in such a sorry state.
Work was dead quiet today, our receptionist gave in her notice. We aren't sad. Actually I like her but she really isn't the right person for the job. We aren't lucky with receptionists. We've had four. The first one was still asking how to open the door 6 months on and eventually left kinda on long term sick, the next one we nickname smeagal. A funny little woman who went to some cult Christian church. She wore the same floral skirt and stained blouse all week and was verrrrrrrry slow. But the worse bit was the flatulence. She was a strict vegetarian with lots of food allergies. Too many beans. She'd just let rip anywhere. In front of consultants, parents, managers, in the staff room, bending down to get notes out the drawer. Eventually she admitted she had no sense of smell but we did. Luckily she was temporary. Then there was the crazy one. She'd had to leave her high powered job because of her unstable personality. So we employed her! She was ok for a few weeks then she got anxious and moody. Then this progressed to downright crazy volatile behaviour and eventually she packed her desk and walked out. Then this present one whose sweet and kinda normal but still after 7 months hasn't grasped very much of anything. Thing is, it isn't exactly rocket science, and I can do it quicker myself.
I took Rainbow Guides tonight. We made people biscuits...With different shaped biscuits for the head, body and limbs etc. We're all a bit worried because they've started a new program for the girls. A program that costs money!! But saying that it is very well made and looks lots of fun. The new uniform is so cute. We had our first child wearing it tonight and she looked gorgeous. Well apart for her trousers far too big and falling down round her knees when she ran. Bless.
Marie rang me and we maybe going to London Overnight one day in December. Christmas shopping and seeing the lights! There suddenly I got a few things to look forward to.
I just have to have a quick rant about Holby city tonight. What a lot of crap. What worries me is that the general public will believe that these things actually happen in hospitals. That woman having the baby with the heart problem. No way would that have happened. That is an unspecialised city general hospital. A diagnosis would be made with a very complex scanner in a specialist centre. Grrr I Hate that programme.
Thanks Clarrie and Stephen for your lovely comments to me. Made me feel warm and loved xxx

Patheticness

I'm not having a good day. I guess it's all to do with my mouth and when you're not feeling 100% and you're unwell it's hard on your own. I wish I had someone to love me. I wish I was loveable and desireable and someone out there thought enough of me to love me.
I got so much to give and it's all wasted. I keep putting all my bets on things that are never going to happen and eventually I'll be damaged again. Everytime I get like this I worry I'm getting depressed again.
I'm going to see Clarrie in a few weeks. That will be great. Why haven't I got friends? why did they all leave me and forget me?
If only you knew how hard I try. How nice I really am. I try to be generous and giving. Maybe it will make people like me more? but I guess if there's nothing likeable then nothing will help.
I want to be slim and attractive because those people aren't alone night after night.
Thanks for listening to me, my little blog.
I'll be better tomorrow. I'm, going to bed to cry and then I'll be better.
It's all pathetic really and I'm just crap.

Poor Trinity (sympathy required)

Confessions. I've known I had a tooth abcess for ages. I tried a few weeks ago to get an appointment at my dentist. The next available one was October 7th. So I suffered in silence (well semi-silence) but this weekend it came to a head (literally). My face is swollen and I've got a huge lump on my gum that throbs.
My friend said "Go to the dentist or I'll be cross" ok I thought. I phoned the dentist. Now maybe its me but I don't have a good reputation with receptionists. My dentist used to have the friendliest nicest girl. Now she's a blonde bimbo. Very pretty and very sarky. The only appointment was 11.40. I was pissed meant I had to leave work at 11. I got there and waited and waited....and waited. An hour after my appointment when everyone else had gone In I complained. I was told the other patients had gone in before me because they were private I was NHS. My dentist would see me soon.
I was so pissy. I'd rushed out of work across town, I was in pain and by that time cross.
Anyways I was called in and yes I had a tooth abcess or granuloma and it has to be removed surgically. The dentist was lovely and I'm taking anti-biotics and have to wait at least THREE months for treatment. Bloody NHS.

Awards Week

What a week for awards it's been. Firstly the Mobo awards (Jamie Cullen wins prize and I never noticed he was entitled to a MOBO) Then the (pathetic lets pat ourselves on the back cos we are sooooo famous) Celebrity awards but my favourite awards this week were the Annual Best Cemetery Awards how do you judge something like that? But in looking for the Cemetery Awards I discovered that we have an annual National Day of the Dead A day to pack up your troubles in that spare coffin and join others in death workshops. Coffin making and Make-overs for the recently deceased, what fun! The next one is Sunday 17th April 2005. Last years successful event included Funeral home tours, burial ground events and yes....Coffin making, this picture shows a lovely one all her own work too!
So don't forget to add it to your diary's. Forget the MOBO Crap and the Celebs Shit. The Dead is where its happening.

Cardiff Tales

I've had a good weekend. I'm home now. It's too quiet here, I HATE having company then its all gone.
We stayed at The Village. The place was nice, it had a very nice Health Farm/ leisure Club attached to it. I did use the pool and the gym once. But Saturday was full of bloody kids. There was a 7th birthday party in the pool... come on when away without kids I hate other people's bloody kids.
There was a wedding in the hotel last night. The girls wanted to gatecrash it. They recounted the tale of last year. In the function room was the wedding of Sarah and Mark. After dinner with multiple bottles of wine they decided to go partying. They waltzed into the party bold as brass and started dancing with two men on the dance floor. The men were immediately joined by their wives who ushered them off the dance floor. Some one came up to them and asked if he knew them. Marie said, we're with Mark. We work with him.
That satisfied him and he went away. Now at some point Rachel got to chatting up the very drunk Best man. His wife had gone to bed, and at 2am he ended up upstairs in Rachel's room with 4 girls. They started to undress him but he couldn't get it up! Oh dear. Then the security guard knocked on the door and wanted to know how many people were in the room. He got up and banged back on the door. 'Help let me out'
Last night was being very drunk and very liberal. Tales of sex, passion and men. Sharing sex toys and swapping stories. But this being my attempt at a clean decent website I can't tell ;) sorry!
I was really pissed off yesterday afternoon. I drove into Cardiff. Spent lots of money on myself. Then drove back. Now I know how to get into and out of Cardiff. BUT the road I drove in on wasn't the same I came out of. I ended up on a roundabout by the M4 I had no idea where the hotel was. I had to swap lanes a few times as I was lost. Those welsh drivers who were driving through Cardiff yesterday in the rain and rush hour were vile. They wouldn't let me in, got angry and were plain nasty. OK I'm a mad driver usually, but you can usually tell if someone is lost and I feel sorry for them, if you take the wrong lane in amongst really heavy traffic, you're trapped. Well after an hour and a half and a stop to buy a Cardiff A-Z which the woman charged me $6.50 for and it was only $3.50 (I went back but no apology) I found my way back. BUT I really do not have a good impression of the welsh....Well the Cardiff welsh really. Dee who was with us is welsh and she's lovely.
Home now though, the cats missed me. They had no food left. Kizzy hasn't left me alone. I love my pussy ;)
