Special Days, Kids, Crazy Moments, lovely mates, things I did, happy times, rants and trials, city life, love and hugs, living with seven cats, disastrous bits, my lovely husband, and if none of it makes sense. Don't fret. That's because life is like that. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

One for you now
We slip through the streets
While everyone sleeps
Getting bigger and sleeker
And wider and brighter
We bite and scratch and scream all night
Let's go and throw
All the songs we know...
Debora - it was Tyrannosaurus Rex (not T Rex). It was from an album called 'My People Were Fair and Wore Sky In Their Hair, But Now THey're Content To Wear Stars On Their Brows' - I think. If it wasn't it was on the followup 'Prophets, Seers and Sages, the Angels Of The Ages'. I have the 7" reissue from 1973.
Into the sea
ReplyDeleteYou and me
All these years and no one heard
I'll show you in spring
It's a treacherous thing
We missed you hissed the lovecats
God we are soooooo old. But these are such fab tracks.
Dug & redug & dug & redug redug.
ReplyDeleteO Debora you look like a zebra
Your sunken lace is like a galleon
Clawed with mysteries of the Spanish main O Debora.
O Debora you're always dressed like a conjurer
It's fine to see your young face smiling
'Neath the stallion that I'm riding O Debora.
Debora you look like a stallion.
A song for me.........name the band
Very good. My mate Tim made the video for that, as he did for all the Cure's stuff.
